My name is Gemma Troughton (Mrs T) and I am the Support Teacher for Inclusive Education (Early Years) here at St Ann's. I like to think of myself as the bread in an inclusive education sandwich. At the centre is the child and all the other 'fillings' are made up of different experts assisting the child. For, example, classroom teacher, speech pathologist, guidance counsellor, EAL/D teacher, support teachers, school officers and external specialists are all in that sandwich. My role sits around these people (as the bread), to ensure all the shareholders are working together to enable the child (at the centre) the opportunity to successfully access the curriculum. You can find me here at St Ann's on Wednesday and Thursday.

This plays a key role in how students perform and make choices throughout the school year and shapes their mindsets they will carry through life.
My family is my whole world and I am very blessed to have two beautiful daughters, Ella and Evie.
